Lobster Shack Tasmania is one of Tasmania's most iconic seafood destinations, located on the picturesque waterfront in Bicheno. We pride ourselves on showcasing premium Tasmanian seafood while providing genuine, friendly hospitality in a fun, supportive team environment.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Front of House Attendants to join our growing team.

About the Role

As a Front of House Attendant, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for every customer. Working alongside our management and kitchen teams, you'll help ensure our café operates efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer service and presentation standards.

Your responsibilities will include

- Greeting customers with a friendly and qualified attitude.
- Taking customer orders accurately using our POS system.
- Preparing barista-quality coffee and other beverages.
- Delivering meals to customers.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming dining environment.
- Handling customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Restocking front of house areas and assisting with daily opening and closing procedures.
- Following all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front of house teams to deliver outstanding service during busy periods.

About You

- Can remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Is flexible and available to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
- Has previous barista experience (desirable but not essential).

Previous hospitality experience is highly regarded; however, a great attitude, willingness to learn and strong work ethic are even more important. An RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain one) is desirable.
