Part-Time: Tuesday-Friday (4 days p/w) Location: Botany, Sydney Reports to: E-Commerce Manager At Single O, we’re here to make people’s days better through specialty coffee, thoughtful hospitality, and a brand that shows up with energy and integrity. We’re looking for a part-time (4 days) Full Stack Developer support our Shopify Plus ecosystem across both B2B and D2C. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll have the opportunity to shape the technical foundations of our ecommerce platform and play a key role in how we grow our digital business.

ABOUT THE ROLE: You’ll be the technical backbone of our ecommerce stack, owning frontend development, custom apps, API architecture, integrations and the code quality that keeps our customer experience secure, scalable and evolving.

Your immediate priority will be building a robust, bidirectional Shopify Plus–NetSuite integration that supports our B2B and D2C operations. Alongside this, you’ll lead the technical development of a new Shopify Plus B2B store, creating a seamless and scalable experience for our wholesale and trade customers.

You’ll work closely with our Ecommerce, Marketing and Sales teams to turn commercial ideas and growth priorities into smart technical solutions, whether that's launching a current B2B feature, improving customer journeys, implementing tracking and attribution, or optimising the site ahead of a high-traffic campaign. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Build our Shopify Plus–NetSuite integration:

Architect and develop a bidirectional integration using NetSuite SuiteTalk (REST/SOAP Web Services or RESTlets) and the Shopify GraphQL Admin API.

Build APIs, webhooks and business logic supporting orders, inventory, customer records and fulfilment.

Manage data transformations, field mapping, authentication and error handling.

Assess and implement connector or iPaaS solutions where appropriate.





Document the architecture, testing and deployment processes. Own our ecommerce technology:

Lead frontend development across our B2B and D2C Shopify Plus environments.

Build and maintain custom themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

Develop custom apps and API integrations that extend our platform.

Champion clean, scalable code and strong development practices.

Support site performance, accessibility, responsiveness and a great customer experience. Lead our new B2B Shopify Plus build:

Architect and develop a dedicated Shopify Plus B2B store using Shopify's native B2B functionality.

Build custom solutions where needed, including account management, pricing logic and order workflows.

Create a B2B experience that is intuitive for trade customers and aligned with the Single O brand.

Work with Sales to understand wholesale workflows and turn them into simple, effective digital experiences.

Support testing, UAT, staging and go-live, with clear documentation and handover. Work across the business:

Partner with Ecommerce, Marketing and Sales to translate commercial priorities into technical solutions.

Help deliver new features and experiences in line with campaigns and growth initiatives.

Implement accurate tracking, attribution and data layers across platforms such as GA4 and Klaviyo.

Bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to technical challenges and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. WHO YOU ARE:

You’re a curious,



analytical and hands-on developer who enjoys solving complex problems and understanding how things work. You can move comfortably between the technical detail and the bigger commercial picture, and you know how to turn a brief into a practical, scalable solution. YOU'LL BRING:

5–7 years' experience as a Full Stack Developer, ideally within ecommerce, retail or a consumer brand.

Robust Shopify Plus frontend and backend development experience, including Liquid, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

Experience with APIs and integrations across REST, SOAP, RESTlets and GraphQL.

Experience with ERP or third-party integrations - ideally NetSuite.

Experience with Shopify Plus B2B functionality and an understanding of B2B customer journeys.

Experience delivering greenfield ecommerce builds or major platform projects.

Familiarity with Git, version control, testing and CI/CD practices.

Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

A highly organised, proactive approach with strong project and time management skills.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE: In your first year, you'll have helped build the technical foundations for the next stage of Single O's ecommerce growth - from delivering our Shopify Plus–NetSuite integration to launching a new B2B Shopify Plus experience that makes life easier for our wholesale customers.

You'll have created a stable, scalable ecommerce platform, built strong relationships across the business and become a trusted technical partner to our Ecommerce, Marketing and Sales teams. Sound like your kind of role?
