As a Technical Support Specialist, we’ll call on your unique talents, skills, expertise, and experience to:
- Provide Tier 2-3 Application support over the range of Bp products via a multitude of tools, including remoteassistance;
- Play a pivotal role in ‘Critical Incident Management’;Be able to elevate and engage in ‘Complaint Resolution Management’ ;Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Tier 1 support team via coaching, mentoring, FAQ creation, leading by example in this way;
- Work with ‘Key Stakeholders’ to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and improve performance;
- Liaise with internal & external support groups;
- Identifyand communicate areas for improvement;
- Liaise with Supervisors, management and other ‘Key Members’ within the business to improve and enhance upon Quality Assurance
- Be able to provide clients with a point of reference for basic escalations;
- Aid in pre-release product testing;
- Assistin the problem management and product defect process to drive resolution;
- Utilise excellent customer service skills and exceed customer requirements.
We believe our ideal applicant will demonstrate the following attributes:
- Minimum 1-2 yearsofexperienceasaTier 2applicationsupport or engineering role, preferably in Help Desk or IT Supportcapacity;
- Experience in troubleshooting & supporting network environments, with a sound understanding ofTCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, routing and switching;
- Strong problem-solving skills and a real passion to find solutions for our Practices and their needs;
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with people ona number oflevels;
- Excellent Time Management skills and be able to prioritise your workload;
- Self-driven with a proven desire to learn and share knowledge to advance better outcomes
- Be able to be professional, friendly and have a customer-focused mindset;
- Valuable written and oral communication skills;
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
