Direct Care Workers: Aged Care: Stonnington Areas

McArthur Aged Care has partnered with a highly regarded Not-for-Profit Aged Care Provider to find passionate and qualified aged care professionals. Together, we support elderly and frail clients who wish to remain living independently in their own homes.

We currently have opportunities for Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) across the Stonnington areas including South Yarra, Armadale, Kooyong, Malvern, Malvern East, Prahran, and Toorak. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working with a leading Not-for-Profit aged care provider.

- Excellent pay rate of $44.09 per hour + paid travel time + travel allowance + $0.99 per km
- Minimum of 4 hours guaranteed per rostered day

- Opportunity to transition to permanent part time employment (based on performance).

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A positive attitude and genuine passion for aged care.
- Availability to work 5 days per week excluding weekends (must be available for a minimum 6-hour block between 09:00am and 5:00pm)
- Victorian driver's licence, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- One of the following qualifications: Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Home & Community Care; or Certificate IV in Disability
- Covid-19 vaccination (minimum 3 doses) and annual flu vaccination preferred
