We're partnering with a well-established, privately owned transport logistics business in Melbourne's western suburbs to recruit an experienced Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a hands‑on role leading the finance function and supporting the business's day‑to‑day financial operations.
You’ll lead a small finance team and take ownership of financial reporting, cash flow, payroll oversight, taxation compliance, month‑end processes and financial controls across multiple entities.
We're looking for someone who has:
- CPA or CA qualification
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager
- Experience leading a small finance team
- Strong multi-entity accounting experience
- Hands‑on knowledge of payroll, BAS, IAS and statutory compliance
- Excellent cash flow management and financial reporting skills
- Experience in transport logistics or field services business is essential
