Riviera Farms is a diversified, vegetable growing and processing enterprise based in East Gippsland, Victoria. We grow, process and distribute a wide variety of fresh produce - including salad, vegetables, lettuce varieties, broccoli, carrots and sweet corn. Our business has operations in Bairnsdale, Lindenow and the Stratford areas.

We are currently looking for a self-motivated, energetic Tractor Operator / General Farm Hand to join our team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and is capable of working independently.

Main duties of this position:

- Operation of late model machinery such as tractors and implements on a wide range of crops
- Spraying all crops with tractor driven sprayers
- Following the agronomists spray recommendations, with ability to accurately measure chemicals, read labels and adhere to safety data sheets
- Slashing and mowing
- Precision seeding and planting




- Boom spraying (training available for the right applicant if required)
- General cultivation and field preparation
- Equipment servicing and basic maintenance
- General farm duties as required
- Maintain accurate records of works carried out via cloud based software
- Ensure OH&S; compliance in machinery operation and storage

Requirements for this position:

- Experience in tractor/machinery operations
- Willingness to engage in all kinds of tractor operations
- Ability to understand, measure and be able to calculate general math
- Willingness to undertake training to obtain a chemical certificate
- Ability to work flexible schedule
