Workfast is seeking experienced Galvanising Production Workers with a forklift licence to work in a busy hot-dip galvanising plant in Campbellfield, VIC.

Workfast is seeking experienced Galvanising Production Workers with a forklift licence to work in a busy hot-dip galvanising plant in Campbellfield, VIC.

Shift hours

- Shift 1 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Shift 2 5:30 am - 2:00 pm
- Shift 3 10:00 am - 6:30 pm overtime till 8 pm

About the Role

- Need to be able to work overtime and weekends
- Operating a forklift when needed
- Helping out with different work areas
- Loading and unloading steel products onto an overhead hoist or conveyor
- Preparing and wiring steel products prior to galvanising
- Assisting with dipping, draining, and cooling processes
- Finishing coated steel using hand tools, grinders,



or polishers
- Operating or assisting with gantry cranes (training provided)
- Quality checking and packaging finished products
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area

About You

To succeed in this position, you should have:

- Previous experience in a galvanising, metal coating, or factory production environment (highly regarded)
- A forklift licence is highly regarded
- Ability to lift steel items up to 20kg
- Good understanding of safe work practices in manufacturing
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- Full working rights in Australia (no restrictions)
