The General Manager – Allied Health is a full-time, on-site role based in Traralgon, VIC. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations of allied health services within the NDIS sector, including managing multidisciplinary teams, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
The General
Manager will lead service planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to maintain high-quality, client-centered care. Day-to-day tasks include supervising staff, managing budgets, reporting on key metrics, lead advocacy for complex scenarios, and driving quality improvement initiatives. The role also involves building strong relationships with participants, families,
referrers, and community partners, as well as contributing to strategic growth and business development.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership and management experience in allied health, disability services, and NDIS service settings.
Solid understanding of NDIS frameworks, participant pathways, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
Experience in financial management, budgeting, and performance reporting within a service-oriented organization.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, support workforce development, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Skills in service planning, process improvement, and implementing policies and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency.
Relevant tertiary qualification in allied health AHPRA registered disciplines: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Psychology.
Membership with relevant professional body is rquired.
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.
Commitment to person-centered practice, ethical conduct, and continuous professional development.
