What you'll be doing

No two days are exactly the same, but you can expect to:

- Prepare financial statements for a variety of businesses
- Complete tax returns for companies, trusts and partnerships
- Assist with BAS, IAS and PAYG obligations
- Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation
- Speak directly with clients and help answer their questions
- Research tax issues and legislation alongside senior team members
- Identify opportunities or potential issues for clients
- Get involved in special projects and advisory work
- Attend team meetings and continue developing your technical skills

Who we're looking for You'll be someone who's curious, motivated and keen to learn.

Ideally you'll have

- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Recently completed (or be in your final year of) an Accounting degree
- An interest in completing your CA
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence using Microsoft Office
- Xero experience is a bonus, but not essential
- A positive attitude and willingness to ask questions
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work well with others
