About the role

Fisher Digital is seeking a talented junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week. It is envisioned this role will eventually become full-time. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer looking for flexibility whilst contributing meaningfully to our dynamic design projects.

Based in West Perth, WA, you will play a key role in creating compelling visual solutions that drive our clients' brands forward. This position offers the perfect balance between professional growth and work-life flexibility, making it ideal for designers seeking part time engagement without compromising on creative impact.

Key responsibilities

- Developing original graphic designs for digital and print media, including branding, marketing collateral, and web assets

- Collaborating with clients and team members to understand design briefs and translate requirements into visually compelling concepts

- Creating wireframes, mockups and prototypes to present design ideas and gather feedback

- Maintaining brand consistency across all design projects and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines

- Preparing final artwork for production, ensuring all files meet technical specifications for various media formats

- Staying current with design trends, tools and industry best practices to enhance the quality of deliverables

- Providing creative input and constructive feedback to support the broader creative team

- Managing design projects efficiently within agreed timelines and budgets

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a portfolio demonstrating design experience across digital and ideally print media

- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools

- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory and visual hierarchy





- Good communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts to both creative and non-creative stakeholders

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment whilst also managing projects independently

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

- Experience with web design and digital asset creation is advantageous

- Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles would enhance your suitability for this role
