Graphic Designer | Queensland Government | Cairns or Townsville

Full-Time Contract | AO5

A Queensland Government department is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join their North Queensland Region team. You'll be producing creative content across print, digital and video that supports real community and stakeholder engagement programs. Office-based with flex arrangements available after probation.

What you'll be doing:

- Designing across print, digital, video and social media

- Advising execs and internal teams on branding and visual communication

- Producing publications, brochures, newsletters, maps, presentations and ads

- Managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

- Liaising with external suppliers — printers, photographers, videographers





- Ensuring all outputs meet WCAG accessibility standards and brand guidelines

What we need:

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)

- Experience producing creative work for a large corporate or government organisation

- Ability to manage competing priorities in a quick-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and time management

- 5+ years' experience in graphic/digital/creative design (desirable)

- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or equivalent (desirable)
