Cairns or Townsville | Contract | Apply Today An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Graphic Designer/Customer & Stakeholder Management to join a Queensland Government team delivering high-quality visual communications that support stakeholder engagement and community initiatives across North Queensland.

In this role, you'll develop engaging creative content across print, digital, video and online platforms while working closely with executives, internal stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative skilled who enjoys delivering impactful visual solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Design and produce high-quality communication materials including publications, brochures, newsletters, presentations, social media content, videos, maps and digital/print advertising.

Develop creative solutions that align with strategic communication objectives and government branding requirements.

Provide expert advice on visual communication, branding and digital design.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex information into engaging visual content.

Manage multiple projects, competing priorities and production schedules to meet deadlines.

Coordinate with external suppliers including printers,



photographers, videographers and illustrators.

Ensure all work meets accessibility standards (WCAG), quality expectations and brand guidelines.

Contribute to continuous improvement of visual communication processes and collaborate with design teams across the department.

About

You

You will have

Demonstrated experience producing high-quality graphic design for large corporate or government organisations.

Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere Pro).

Experience creating content across print, digital and video platforms.

Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and accessible document creation.

Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills.

The ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Desirable

Minimum five years' experience in graphic, digital or visual design.

Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
