THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an experienced, qualified painter who is genuinely passionate about their trade and takes pride in producing exceptional workmanship.

You’ll work on premium residential homes,



architectural projects and detailed restoration work throughout Inner Melbourne (South & East), Bayside and the Mornington Peninsula.

We're looking for someone seeking a long-term career, not simply their next job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Carry out detailed surface preparation, including filling, sanding, masking and surface refinement to a consistently high standard
- Deliver clean, detailed and above standard gapping throughout every project
- Deliver sharp cutting in and consistently high quality finishes with exceptional attention to detail
- Confidently apply coatings using brush, roller and professional spray equipment
- Identify, rectify and refine defects throughout the preparation and finishing process
- Follow UBI Painting's systems, specifications and workmanship standards on every project
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite while treating every client's home with care and respect
- Communicate professionally with builders, homeowners and fellow team members
- Take ownership of your work and contribute positively to a high performing team

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Applications will only be reviewed where all mandatory requirements are clearly addressed.

You must have:

- Minimum 8–10 years' professional painting experience
- Certificate III in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent)
- Current White Card
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Professional presentation
- Physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of premium residential painting
- Exceptional attention to detail and high finishing standards
- Strong communication skills
- Full-time availability
- Ability to work throughout Inner Melbourne (South & East), Bayside and the Mornington Peninsula
- At least two skilled references

- Experience using Festool sanding and dust extraction systems
- Texture, feature or decorative finishes
- EWP, Working at Heights or First Aid certifications
