Overview

As a Registered Nurse you will work in the Memory Support Unit at SVCS Mitchelton, delivering quality resident care through clinical nursing practice and fostering collaborative relationships across the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

- Provide clinical nursing care to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well‑being.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a resident‑focused approach across the continuum of care.
- Work scheduled shifts in the Memory Support Unit, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
- Use assessment, care, and communication skills to manage residents with dementia.
- Follow directives as outlined in care plans and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

- Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (essential).
- Clinical nursing experience in an aged‑care facility (essential).
- High level of customer‑service skills and excellent communication skills.




- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow care‑plan directives.
- Understanding of aged‑care regulations, resident rights, and responsibilities.
- Nationally Coordinated Police Clearance Certificate or NDIS Clearance.
- Experience working with dementia clients is an advantage.
