- Preparing profit and loss accounts and balance sheet reports.
- Preparing asset account, liability account and capital account entries by analyzing account information.
- Provides financial assistance by inspecting accounting options.
- Analyze data collected to determine the state of the company’s financial health.
- Analyze data to understand where the company is generating revenue or losing revenue.
- Preparation of financial reports that shows the company’s profits, equity and cash flow.
- Taking care of the inventory process.
- Collecting and analyzing data which is used in the estimates of each container import.
- Collecting and analyzing the accounting information to prepare special financial reports and assists in preparing budgets and forecasting.

Skill & Experience
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a closely related field.
- At least one year of relevant post-qualification experience as an Accountant or in a similar accounting role
- Robust knowledge of Australian accounting principles, taxation requirements, financial reporting standards and relevant legislation.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, budgets, cash flow reports, payroll and management reports.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret financial data and provide practical recommendations to support business decision-making.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with management, suppliers and external stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of inventory control, internal controls, budgeting and audit processes is highly regarded.
