The Role

We’re looking for a strong, capable, and motivated Day Shift Supervisor to take full ownership of a shift in our modern production facility in Dandenong.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a solid extrusion and plastics background.

This is a hands‑on leadership role — ideal for someone who thrives on challenge, leads by example, and knows how to bring out the best in a team when it counts.

Responsibilities Include:

- Leading the shift from the front — setting the pace, tone, and expectations
- Coordinating people, machines, and materials to meet daily production targets
- Running shift meetings and maintaining clear communication across teams
- Supporting and developing operators — fostering a high‑performance culture
- Promoting a positive,

- Monitoring safety compliance and addressing risks proactively
- Troubleshooting problems in real time and keeping things moving
- Reporting on shift outcomes, incidents, and changeovers

The Individual:

- Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- A robust, visible leader with a hands‑on approach — not just a delegator
- Ability to stay calm and effective in high‑pressure, fast‑moving conditions
- Confident communicator who can run meetings and provide clear direction
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- A safety‑first mindset and the confidence to enforce WHS standards
- Someone who can motivate and grow their team while maintaining standards
- Solid Plastics or extrusion experience/background
