Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer and supplier of innovative stormwater and civil infrastructure solutions, partnering with major construction, plumbing and civil projects across Victoria and nationally. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck Driver to join their team based in Hallam.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused driver who enjoys being on the road while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be responsible for transporting specialised products to construction sites, warehouses and trade customers throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Shift Timings & Salary
Hours: Monday to Friday | Day Shift
Salary: $90,000 + Super
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering stormwater and civil infrastructure products to customer sites across Melbourne and regional Victoria
- Loading and unloading trucks safely using forklifts, cranes or manual handling techniques where required
- Conducting daily pre-start inspections and maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of your allocated vehicle
- Securing loads in accordance with Chain of Responsibility legislation and National Heavy Vehicle Regulations
- Completing delivery paperwork, manifests, connotes and electronic delivery documentation accurately
- Providing professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
- Assisting warehouse staff with loading, dispatch and general warehouse duties when required
- Planning delivery runs to maximise efficiency while meeting customer delivery schedules
- Reporting vehicle defects, incidents or maintenance requirements promptly
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety procedures and road transport legislation
- Performing routine load restraint inspections throughout delivery runs to ensure ongoing transport compliance
- Communicating proactively with the operations and dispatch team regarding delivery updates, delays or customer requirements
- Utilising ERP System (Pipedrive) for Pipeline Management, Creating Connotes, Manifests & Invoices
- Safely manoeuvring heavy vehicles into construction sites,
tight access locations and customer premises while maintaining safe operating practices
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced truck driver who enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive team environment.
You’ll also need:
- Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck License
- Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery or transport role
- Strong knowledge of Melbourne metropolitan roads and surrounding regional areas
- Sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and load restraint practices
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Current LF Forklift License (preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience delivering construction, manufacturing or building materials will be highly regarded
- Positive communication and customer service skills
- Ability to complete delivery documentation and use transport or ERP systems
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Full Australian working rights
