An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a large-scale Cyber Resilience Program within a leading Australian university.
The role sits within the University's Cyber Resilience & Recovery Program, supporting a large Network Segmentation initiative. They're looking for someone with strong technical BA experience working across networking, network security, NAC, Zero Trust, SASE/SD-WAN or broader network infrastructure transformation, partnering with network engineers and cyber teams.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops and gather business and technical requirements.
- Produce high-quality business and technical documentation, including BRDs, functional specifications and process maps.
- Conduct current and future state analysis and identify gaps, risks and dependencies.
- Work closely with cyber security, infrastructure, architecture and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support solution design, implementation,
testing and business readiness activities.
- Build solid relationships with technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Skills and Experience required:
- You’ll be an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a proven ability to work across complex cyber security programs.
- Technical Business Analysis with experience across Network Segmentation, Network Security, NAC, Zero Trust, SASE/SD-WAN or broader network infrastructure projects.
- .Requirements gathering, workshop facilitation and current/future state analysis.
- Producing high-quality technical documentation and functional specifications.
- Working across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
- Experience within Higher Education is advantageous but not essential.
