Greenstaff Medical is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our casual nursing team in Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to work flexibly whilst delivering high-quality patient care across general medical and surgical settings. Based in Melbourne VIC 3000, this role offers the flexibility of casual work with the satisfaction of professional healthcare delivery.

What you'll be doing

Providing direct patient care across general medical and surgical wards, including assessment, monitoring and treatment of patients

Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff, ensuring accuracy and patient safety

Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare standards and regulations

Communicating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care

Performing vital signs monitoring, wound care, catheter care and other clinical procedures as required

Supporting patients with activities of daily living and providing compassionate emotional support

Identifying and reporting changes in patient conditions promptly to medical staff

Adhering to infection control protocols, health and safety regulations and professional nursing standards

Responding to patient call bells and requests in a timely and professional manner

What we're looking for

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse

Proven experience in general medical and/or surgical nursing environments

Strong clinical knowledge and competency in core nursing skills including patient assessment,



medication administration and clinical observation

Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, families and healthcare professionals

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in fast-paced healthcare settings

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Commitment to maintaining professional standards and continuing professional development

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively

Compassion, patience and a genuine commitment to patient-centred care
