About the opportunity

Cutri Fruit is undergoing growth and is currently looking for hard-working and energetic workers. You need to be fit, healthy, rapid on your feet, able to work under pressure and work well in a team. Have good knowledge of fruit growing and an eye for detail.

Positions

Full-time positions available for up to 5 team members.

Duration

Seasonal/contract, 38 hours per week, 12-month contract.

Remuneration

$24.95 per hour under the Horticulture Award 2020

About the role

These positions are physically demanding and include pruning, weeding, thinning, picking, packing, stacking, orchard hygiene, factory work, housekeeping and general duties.

Selection criteria

- Be honest and reliable
- Be fit and strong enough to undertake repetitive physical work
- Arrive prior to the designated start time to prepare for the day ahead
- Work at a consistently fast pace
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Hold work rights within Australia for the full fixed term




- Willing to undertake pre-screen fitness testing and drug screening
- Demonstrate commitment to working hard, following instructions, caring for colleagues and maintaining workplace safety

Additional information

Previous experience in the horticulture sector is desirable but not essential. Successful applicants will receive intensive training to understand quality and performance standards. Applicants from outside the Swan Hill area will need to demonstrate a commitment to moving and living in the region for the period of employment.
