Role Grade: Pharmacist, Grade 1 (Year 1-5) or Pharmacist, Grade 2 (Year 1-3) Department and location: Pharmacy, St Vincent's Public Hospital, Sydney Salary: $83,734.08 - $123,940.80 Pro-rata + Super + Salary Packaging

About the role

- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients including drug dispensing, distribution and medication counselling.
- Deliver accurate and timely drug information to patients and staff to support safe and effective medication use.




- Rotational role offering diverse experience and exposure across a wide range of specialties
- Collaborate with our friendly and supportive pharmacy team to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Participate in core departmental operations with a focus on safety, quality and Engage in orientation and structured training programs, with ongoing support to develop skills in clinical pharmacy, dispensing, and drug information.

About you

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Pharmacist, with no restrictions on scope of practice. Demonstrated competence in clinical drug knowledge and commitment to ongoing professional development. Ability to participate in weekend and on-call rosters as required
- Understanding of formulary management principles and the practical application of formulary decisions within a hospital setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a energetic and fast-paced environment.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.



Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
