JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for carrying out general garden maintenance on customer properties to a very high standard and care, along with assisting the Aloe There Gardening team in the delivery of garden tidy up projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform tasks (eg. pruning, planting, pest and disease control and turf management) using correct horticultural practices.
- Mowing, edging and maintenance of customer lawns
- Weed gardens and paths as required
- Water and feed lawns and gardens as requested
- Sweeping/blowing of paths and hard surfaces
- Assist in landscape and garden tidy up projects as required
- Assist with removal of green and hard waste as required
- Hedging and trimming of shrubs and trees
- Ensure gardening equipment is operated safely, carefully and is maintained
- Understand and ensure the implementation of Aloe There Gardening company values - Safety, Quality, Reliability, Communication, Innovation and Punctuality
- Report all safety hazards and incidents to management
- Report all customer or site issues to management
- Gutter cleans





SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- General maintenance experience
- Excellent customer skills
- Experience working as part of a team and prepared complete general maintenance tasks as necessary
- Competent in operating general maintenance equipment and chemical handling
- Excellent communication skills, reliable and have an eye for detail
- Time management and organisational skills - knowing how to prioritise
- Able to work efficiently unsupervised and when under pressure
- Valid and current driving licence
- Working with Children Check
- Current Police Check
