A founding role is available within a new startup funded by Deck2 Capital (deck2cap.com). Deck2 acquires profitable digital insurance companies, while our operating arm, Cove (joincove.ai), is responsible for running and growing them. Cove hires for this role, but you'll work within a new venture that has acquired a profitable insurance business.

We're hiring a Head of Growth to own customer acquisition for a newly acquired consumer insurance business in Australia - and to scale it with a modern growth engine.

You'll own the funnel end to end: channels, spend, conversion and the experimentation behind all of it. Here's the twist that makes it genuinely interesting, growth here isn't about cheap clicks and volume. It's about acquiring the right customers, tying acquisition to portfolio quality, and bidding towards good risk rather than low cost. You'll work hand in glove with pricing, product and data science to make that real.

What we're looking for

- Data and metrics-driven to the core - you live in CAC, LTV, NCI, conversion and payback, and decide on evidence.




- Real industry experience in insurance or personal lines (or an adjacent regulated consumer category). You understand this market, not just growth in the abstract.
- Deep performance-marketing and paid-channel expertise, with rigorous experimentation and CRO - A/B/X testing tied directly to outcomes.
- The judgement to balance growth against unit economics, and the credibility to partner with pricing and finance as equals.

This is an AI-native business, and that applies to growth too. You'll stand out if you bring real use of AI agents for multi-step work (agentic AI), comfort building tools over our own data (DWH, RAG), solid prompt and context engineering, and a habit of building your own tools even without a coding background.
