We are seeking an outstanding educational leader to join our Secondary School in the role of Head of VET and Future Pathways, commencing in Term 1 2027.

Reporting to the Director of Aquinas MyFuture, this role will lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of the College’s Vocational Education and Training (VET), Workplace Learning, Tertiary Preparation and Future Pathways programs. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with students, families, staff, industry partners and training providers to ensure every student is supported to pursue meaningful and successful post-school pathways.

Key responsivities include:

- Leading the strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of VET, Workplace Learning and Industry & Enterprise programs.
- Developing strong partnerships with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), industry representatives, universities and community stakeholders.
- Monitoring student participation, engagement and achievement to maximise successful outcomes.
- Ensuring compliance with SCSA, WACE, RTO and workplace learning requirements.
- Overseeing reporting, enrolment processes, certification and data management.




- Promoting innovative pathway opportunities that reflect industry trends and future workforce demands.
- Supporting students and families through course selection, pathway planning and post-school transition processes.
- Contributing to College events, information sessions and community engagement activities.
- Leading and supporting staff involved in VET and pathway delivery.

The Successful Applicant We are looking for an innovative and highly organised leader with a sound understanding of VET, Workplace Learning, and senior secondary pathways. The successful applicant must have:

- Current Teacher Registration in Western Australia.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a school or educational setting.
- Solid knowledge of VET, Workplace Learning and senior secondary pathways.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and successful post-school outcomes.
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos and values of Aquinas College.
