HSE Advisor - 6 Month Contract Location: NSW
Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (6 Months)
Start Date: ASAP We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Advisor to join our team on a 6-month contract to provide operational safety support across our NSW sites. This role is ideal for a safety professional who enjoys being out in the field, engaging with frontline teams and driving positive safety outcomes. The successful candidate will focus on providing practical, hands-on safety leadership and support, with a strong emphasis on site engagement rather than administrative compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular site visits, inspections and safety observations.
Partner with operational leaders to promote a positive safety culture.
Provide practical advice and support on WHS matters.
Support risk assessments, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and safe work practices.
Assist with incident investigations and the implementation of corrective actions.
Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
Support the continuous improvement of safety processes and systems.
About
You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a HSE Advisor, Safety Advisor or similar role.
Strong knowledge of NSW WHS legislation and safety management systems.
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach to workplace safety.
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum).
Current Driver's Licence.
Experience working within logistics, transport, manufacturing, construction or industrial environments will be highly regarded. What's on Offer
