Hays is currently recruiting a HSE coordinator for a commercial construction company based South of the river.
You will need 1+ years experience in commercial building or multi residenital HSE adminisntation or similar to apply.
Projects: Multi-residential townhouses, educational buildings, hospitality & more up to $100M
About the Role The HSE coordinator will be responsible for ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
- Provide training and support to staff on HSE matters.
- Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
Qualifications
- Cert or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of WA HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the construction industry is essential, mining or civil works unfortunately will not be considered
- Certification in HSE management.
