About the role
Based out of our modern Hazelmere workshop, this role offers a mix of field service and workshop work, supporting a modern fleet of civil construction equipment.
You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing Georgiou's fleet to ensure high standards of safety, reliability and performance, while working within a small, collaborative maintenance team.
This is a metro role offering consistent hours (45-50 hours per week), with the benefit of being home every night and enjoying weekends with your family.
What you'll be doing
Perform preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs
Diagnose faults across a range of mobile plant and equipment
Maintain and repair equipment including articulated trucks, dozers, excavators, graders, wheel loaders and ancillary plant
Complete field service work using a fully equipped service vehicle
Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety and compliance standards
Support apprentices and contribute to a positive team workplace
Your skills and experience
Trade qualified Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic
5+ years post-trade experience working on civil construction equipment
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and troubleshooting capability (including electrical systems)
Experience across both workshop and field service environments
Proven experience maintaining CAT or similar mobile plant equipment
Strong commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid C Class driver's licence (HR desirable)
Physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of the role
