Location: Werribee & Epping Workshops + Onsite Hire Fleet
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forklift Technician to join our team! Based between our Werribee and Epping workshops, with additional onsite work across our hire fleet, this role offers variety and hands‑on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Toyota forklift models, ensuring their safe and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and safety checks
- Identify and replace faulty or worn parts
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide efficient, high-quality service
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a forklift technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Valid driver’s licence required
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in varied conditions (including outdoors)
