This role is based at PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport, which is conveniently located adjacentto Melbourne Airport. Featuring276 guest accommodation rooms, newly refurbished 16 Meeting & Events Conference rooms and the Airo Restaurant & Bar,PARKROYAL Melbourne Airportis the perfect landing place.

We are currentlylooking for an experienced, energetic,and supportiveReservations Agent to join ourfriendlyReservations team on a permanent full-time basis with weekend availability and flexibility with start times.

The successful applicant will have a positive attitude, be a fantastic communicator, and be a natural team player who has the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of attention to detail under pressure.

The Role:

Report to the Reservations Supervisor

Develop and maintaineffective relationships with guests and internal team members/departments

Ensure that all reservations are made in line with current rates in order to achieve optimum average rate and occupancy.

Review the daily reports to ensure reservations are accurate and do any necessary follow up e.g. no-show & cancelled reservations, action traces for upcoming arrival.

Ensure all phone calls and emails are answered in a professional and timely manner.

Experience executing the reservations function for 4 or 5 star properties

Strong research and analytical abilities

Experience managing key customer relationships

Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and obtain “buy-in” from both internal and external stakeholders

Opera PMS, Opera Reservations, and Siteminder experience (preferred)
