A fantastic chance has become available for a passionate Registered Nurse - Anaesthetics/Recovery to join a dedicated team at a private hospital in Melbourne's eastern suburbs on a part-time basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Preparing patients for surgery, preparing anaesthetic equipment, and assisting with anaesthesia administration;
- Providing patient care during recovery and monitoring post-operative vital signs;
- Delivering evidence-based care while ensuring the safety of patients and staff;
- Liaising with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care;
- Supporting team members in delivering family-centred care;
- Providing education and support to patients and their families to assist with the ongoing management of care.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Anaesthetics / Recovery;
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Works well independently and within a team;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

REMUNERATION
A salary ranging from $37.60 - 51.50 per hour.

The Hospital, located 30 km east of Melbourne CBD, is a75-bedacute Medical, Surgical and Oncology facility providing high-quality care for patients from diagnosis, including all aspects of treatments and end-of-life care. Specialities include general medicine, ENT, Plastics, gastroenterology, gynaecology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthopaedics, urology, vascular, respiratory therapy, and comprehensive oncological service.
