Ribbons & Bows Cakes is one of Melbourne's leading wholesale cake and dessert producers, supplying cafés, event venues, caterers and gourmet retailers with premium handmade desserts.

Operating from our modern Coburg North facility, our team produces a wide range of cakes, slices and desserts at scale while maintaining strong pastry craftsmanship and quality.

We are currently looking for a qualified or experienced Pastry Chef to join our production team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced pastry kitchen, producing high-quality desserts and contributing to a growing Melbourne food brand.

Key Responsibilities

- Producing cakes and desserts in a high-volume production environment
- Assembling and finishing cakes including layering, masking and decorating
- Working with fillings, mousses, glazes, chocolate and fruit preparations
- Maintaining high presentation and quality standards
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures




- Supporting production planning and workflow
- Assisting with new dessert and product development

About You

- Qualified pastry chef or strong industry experience
- Experience producing cakes, desserts or pastries
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production kitchen
- High attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Minimum 3-5 years of pastry chef experience required
- High-volume production kitchen experience preferred
- Australian work rights required at time of application
