About the role We are seeking a Senior Mobile QA Engineer to join our client in the Insurance sector. This role involves creating and implementing mobile automation frameworks from the ground up, focusing on both iOS and Android applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile testing and automation.
- Develop a mobile automation framework from the beginning, including tool selection and initial test creation.
- Integrate the framework into Continuous Integration (CI) processes and enhance test coverage for native mobile applications.
Requirements
- Proven experience in building mobile automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong background in mobile testing for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Familiarity with web and API testing is essential.
- Ability to document the framework development process and provide detailed descriptions of chosen tools and methodologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with test management tools.
- Knowledge of performance testing for mobile applications.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in mobile automation tools such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Understanding of programming languages such as Java, Swift, or Kotlin.
