Overview
As Assistant Venue Manager with AVC, you'll work closely with the Venue Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the venue — leading from the front to create an outstanding guest experience while driving operational excellence across all departments.
Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day venue operations and manage the front‑of‑house team
- Ensure consistent, outstanding guest experiences across all departments
- Conduct stocktakes, investigate stock losses, and order/maintain par levels across beverage, food and venue consumables
- Train, performance‑manage, and motivate staff
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in an Assistant Venue Manager role
- Solid experience working in a gaming venue and with TAB
- Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
- RMLV & Approved Managers License
- Accommodation management experience or exposure to hotel accommodation operations is highly regarded
