What you’ll do
- Lead the architecture and deployment of secure AWS cloud solutions for enterprise and government applications.
- Collaborate with platform engineers, security experts, and application developers to ensure security is prioritized throughout the cloud lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain cloud governance practices and compliance with relevant standards.
- Continuously assess and improve cloud environments to enhance security and performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards, particularly ISM and IRAP.
- Proven experience with cloud governance and Zero Trust architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes or Docker.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms, such as Azure or Google Cloud.
