Plant Operator / Crew Member / Directional Drill Offsider

Are you looking for a solid labouring/plant operating role? Do you have some experience within the Power Distribution, Civil construction or Utility Infrastructure industry?

We are a very successful business operating within a specialist area of the civil works industry and are currently seeking two full-time Crew Members to join our team in Boronia, for an immediate fully trained start.

Working within a small crew but part of a bigger team, the role requires an eager, proactive and reliable individual with a growth mindset.Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Plant operation – including excavator, crew trucks and other civil works equipment

Plant and equipment cleaning and minor maintenance

Operating and Tracking Horizontal Directional Drill

Reading BYDA & Construction Plans and Locating Utility Services

Experience following OH&S; procedures

Site set up and reinstatement

Ability to work with other teams when required

Driving HR vehicles and operating machinery

General Civil construction activities

Completion of paperwork via Tablets





Excavation around services

Some previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous. A current HR Truck licence and white card are essential. Plant operating tickets would also be advantageous. This role requires you to be adaptable, take direction and work within tight deadlines. Training will be provided as required. VESI and NBN Enable are essential for all staff. The role will be based out of our Boronia yard Monday to Friday but working away on contracts we have in NSW and the ACT will form part of your training and can be ongoing if desired.
