As our Assistant Front Office Manager, you will play a key rolein leading the Front Office team and supporting the day-to-dayoperations of the department. Working closely with the Front OfficeManager, you will help drive operational excellence, deliverexceptional guest experiences and lead the team to provideoutstanding service at every stage of the guest journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support the Front Office team,
fostering apositive and collaborative working environment
- Oversee daily operational movements, including arrivals,departures, room allocations and guest requests
- Act as the first point of escalation for guest concerns,handling and resolving complaints professionally to achievepositive outcomes
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistentlydelivered in line with brand expectations
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance andother departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
- Assist with rostering, shift coordination and team performanceto meet operational requirements
- Monitor compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brandstandards
- Maintain accurate records and reports while ensuring a highlevel of attention to detail
- Support the Front Office Manager in driving operationalexcellence and continuous improvement
- Oversee and assist with operations within the Western SydneyConvention Centre as required, ensuring a seamless and consistentguest experience across both venues
About You
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager (minimum1-2 years preferred) or Assistant Front OfficeManager within a hotel environment
- Proven experience in a Front Office leadership role, with theability to lead, coach and motivate a high-performing team
- Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion forcreating memorable experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with theability to build strong relationship with guests, colleagues andstakeholders
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention todetail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive hands on approach and a positive attitude, strongwork ethic and ability to work collaboratively as part of ateam
- Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)Certificate
- Possess current First Aid and CPRcertifications
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends,public holidays and evening shifts as required
