Qscan Group is seeking a motivated General Practitioner or Medical Registrar to provide onsite medical coverage for nuclear medicine (MIBI) stress testing services at our Moruya and Ulladulla clinics on the beautiful NSW South Coast.

This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor looking for flexible sessional work in a well-supported diagnostic imaging environment, with travel and accommodation available for practitioners travelling from outside the region.

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologists and Cardiac Scientists, you will provide onsite medical supervision during MIBI stress testing sessions, including:

- Assessing patient suitability prior to stress testing.
- Providing medical oversight during pharmacological and exercise stress tests.
- Managing any adverse reactions or clinical concerns.
- Supporting safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with clinical protocols.

you will provide onsite medical supervision during MIBI stress testing sessions, including:

- Assessing patient suitability prior to stress testing.
- Providing medical oversight during pharmacological and exercise stress tests.
- Managing any adverse reactions or clinical concerns.
- Supporting protected, high-quality patient care in accordance with clinical protocols.

No reporting of nuclear medicine studies is required.

About You

You will be:

- Registered with AHPRA as a General Practitioner or Medical Registrar (or equivalent).
- Confident in the assessment and management of acute medical presentations.
- Current in Basic Life Support (ALS desirable).
- Comfortable working independently while supported by an experienced imaging team.
- Committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Previous experience in stress testing, emergency medicine, cardiology or acute care is advantageous, however training can be provided.
