The Prospect

This is an opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor to take full ownership of premium custom residential and commercial projects valued between $1 million and $10 million. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will lead assigned sites from establishment through to handover, coordinating trades, driving the construction program and ensuring every stage is completed safely, correctly and to Acustruct's exacting quality standards. We are looking for a true builder at heart with deep knowledge of construction sequencing, a strong eye for detail and the confidence to solve site issues before they affect quality, cost or program.

Responsibilities include:

- Take full day-to-day responsibility for assigned sites from establishment through to handover
- Plan, sequence and drive construction programs to keep projects on time, on budget and to specification
- Schedule, brief and supervise subcontractors and trades, maintaining strong standards of quality and productivity
- Interpret architectural, structural and engineering documentation and coordinate inspections, hold points and approvals
- Maintain safe,



clean and compliant sites, including inductions, SWMS, toolbox talks and incident reporting
- Complete accurate site reporting, daily logs, progress photos, variations and site instructions through Buildertrend

The Ideal Candidate

- A current VBA Registered Building Practitioner registration and 10-15 years of relevant construction experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of domestic building sequence, workmanship standards and the dependencies between trades
- Demonstrated experience supervising premium residential and/or commercial projects from commencement to handover
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings and specifications
- Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, Victorian building regulations and WHS requirements
- Strong leadership, organisation, communication and problem-solving skills, plus a current driver licence and White Card
- A full-time, ongoing role with an established Melbourne builder of more than 23 years
