Masterwall Australia is seeking a capable and highly detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day finance function.
This is a hands‑on role covering accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, month‑end support and ad‑hoc financial reporting.

Responsibilities
The role will be a part time, 3 day per week role encompassing the following areas:
- Manage accounts receivable, including payment allocation, debtor follow-up and customer account reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable, including supplier invoice processing, reconciliations and payment preparation.
- Complete bank, credit card, supplier, customer and general ledger reconciliations.
- Process and reconcile payroll, including leave, allowances and timesheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end reconciliations, journals,
reporting and supporting schedules.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports across sales, debtors, cash flow, inventory, margins and other business areas.
- Analyse financial and operational data, investigate discrepancies and provide clear reporting to support decision‑making.
- Assist with BAS, superannuation, payroll tax and other finance administration as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting and data accuracy.
About You
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping, accounting or finance administration role.
- Strong accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and reconciliation experience.
- Advanced Excel skills are highly sought after and will be prioritised, along with robust capability and experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a disciplined approach to reviewing your own work to ensure accuracy and minimise errors.
- Experience with Xero is essential.
- Experience with stock control, inventory reconciliations and Unleashed inventory software will be highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
