As a Home Care Inspector , you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional support throughout the maintenance and warranty period, helping protect the quality and reputation of the homes we build.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines construction knowledge, project coordination, customer service, and problem-solving. You'll manage maintenance and warranty inspections, coordinate trades, oversee rectification works, and guide customers through the process with professionalism and confidence.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct maintenance and warranty inspections across residential homes
- Identify building defects and determine appropriate rectification solutions
- Coordinate and manage trades throughout the maintenance and warranty process
- Schedule and monitor works to ensure projects are completed on time and to Burbank standards
- Liaise with homeowners, trades and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication throughout each job
- Resolve issues and disputes in a fair and professional manner
- Ensure all works comply with relevant building regulations, contractual obligations and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Support the presentation and upkeep of display homes within your allocated area
What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who enjoys construction, is practical in their approach, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Ideally, You'll Have
- Experience within the residential building or construction industry
- Project coordination, project management or scheduling experience
- A trade background or strong technical understanding of residential construction
- Knowledge of building standards, regulations and industry best practices
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs at once
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A solutions-focused mindset with robust problem-solving abilities
- Confidence making decisions and having difficult conversations when required
- A positive attitude, resilience and a genuine commitment to providing great customer outcomes
- A stable employment history demonstrating reliability, commitment and a strong work ethic
