Our Hotel Services Staff are responsible for maintaining The Forrest Centre's cleanliness, food, and hygiene standards. Day to day you could be responsible for:
Kitchen duties, food preparation, general kitchen cleaning and transporting food trolleys
Cleaning duties, such as cleaning bedrooms and ensuites, removing garbage and replacing garbage bin liners, sanitising equipment, and cleaning vinyl and carpet areas
Laundry duties, sorting linen and personal clothing, operating industrial washing machines and dryers, folding and ironing
Training will be provided
About you:
Our residents deserve extraordinary support and care. While experience is important, we also look for the right person with the right values to fit our team. We're looking for someone who:
Has a genuine interest in working in an aged care environment and with elderly people
Can work a variety of shifts and is adaptable in relation to working hours
Has the ability to communicate with respect and compassion with residents, family members and staff
Is willing to learn on the job and contribute to a positive, safe working environment
Has previous experience working in aged care (desirable)

The Forrest Centre is founded on spiritual support and personal connection; we are a Riverina-based aged care provider. With 40 years of experience,
we are a registered charity dedicated to ensuring elderly people in the region receive the care they deserve. Our services include residential aged care at Loreto Home of Compassion (76 residents), Mary Potter Nursing Home (70 residents), and The Forrest Centre Hospice (10 residents) as well as at-home care for around 300 clients through Forrest Home Care. Our team of approximately 250 staff share a commitment to respectful, compassionate, and people-centred care.
The Forrest Centre is Wagga Wagga's only independent, local, residential aged care provider and are proud of our community heritage. We reflect our values of wellbeing, hospitality, respect, stewardship and compassion in every aspect of our daily operations.
