Join a leading Australian Managed Services Provider as they deliver a large scale SD WAN rollout for a major client.
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer with strong Cisco and Palo Alto skills to work alongside senior engineers on a fast paced, high volume migration project based onsite in Melbourne's Docklands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support site discovery and migration preparation activities across the SD WAN rollout
- Work alongside senior engineers to help deliver site migrations at a pace of three to five sites per week
- Carry out structured, repeatable configuration and migration tasks across Cisco and Palo Alto network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently during site migrations, escalating complex issues where needed
- Document site migration outcomes, configurations, and any issues encountered.
Key Requirements:
- Self sufficient, hands on experience with Cisco networking infrastructure (essential)
- Solid hands on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (essential)
- Comfortable working through structured, repetitive migration tasks at pace, without close supervision
- Solid understanding of core networking fundamentals including routing, switching, VLANs, and VPNs
- Available for an immediate start, or with a very short notice period.
