Reporting to senior leadership, you will be the key advisor on all people-related matters, ensuring the business is equipped with the capability, culture, and systems to deliver operational excellence.
You will play a critical role in:
- Driving a high-performance and accountable culture
- Leading complex employee and industrial relations matters
- Strengthening leadership capability across the site
- Ensuring compliance with enterprise agreements and legislation
- Supporting ongoing business transformation and workforce planning
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to provide expert HR and IR advice, including managing complex and escalated employee matters
- Lead enterprise agreement interpretation and negotiation cycles
- Drive performance management frameworks and uplift leadership capability
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies, and enterprise agreements
- Lead and support workplace investigations, grievances, and dispute resolution
- Oversee training and development programs aligned to operational needs
- Support and strengthen health, safety, and return-to-work programs
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across people, culture, and systems
You are a confident and pragmatic HR leader who is equally comfortable on the floor as you are influencing senior leaders.
You bring
- Proven experience in a generalist HR leadership role within manufacturing, logistics, or a similar environment
- Strong industrial relations and employment law expertise
- Experience working with enterprise agreements and unions
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee matters and investigations
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to drive change and influence outcomes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the business
