Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the organization's HR function, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and industry best practices. The role is responsible for driving talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, workplace health & safety, and organizational development while fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Provide expert HR and employee relations advice to managers and resolve complex workplace issues and grievances.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, enterprise agreements, and company policies.
- Drive performance management initiatives and support leadership in building a high-performing workforce.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning programs across the organization.
- Manage workforce planning, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee Workplace Health & Safety (OHS) programs, committee activities, and rehabilitation processes.
- Support relocation and immigration activities for current employees where required.
- Represent the organization in discussions with government authorities, industry bodies, and employee representatives when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (postgraduate qualification preferred) .
- Several years of experience in an HR Manager role within a medium to large organization.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and performance management.
- Experience managing workplace health & safety (OHS) programs.
- Proven ability to handle complex employee relations matters and negotiate enterprise agreements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
