The Role The successful candidate will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who can provide strong operational support.

You will be responsible for: Demonstrated knowledge of mine site water management systems, borefield operations, dewatering activities, and operational water infrastructure

Manage site-wide water balance models, water forecasts, and operational water management systems to ensure sustainable water supply and effective resource utilisation

Monitor groundwater abstraction, borefield performance, dewatering activities, surface water systems, and water quality to support safe and productive mining operations

Provide technical water management advice and recommendations to mine planning, production, tailings, and operational teams to support business objectives

Analyse hydrological, hydrogeological, and environmental monitoring data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and operational improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with water licences, environmental approvals, regulatory obligations,



and company standards through effective monitoring, reporting, and governance processes

Prepare and submit technical reports, water management documentation, regulatory submissions, and compliance reporting to internal and external stakeholders

Coordinate hydrological investigations, monitoring programs, infrastructure upgrades, consultants, and contractor activities to achieve project outcomes

Identify, assess, and manage water-related operational and environmental risks while contributing to environmental management plans and continuous improvement initiatives

Promote and maintain high standards of safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance whilst supporting operational environmental objectives and audit requirements

Support the Geotechnical and Tailings Engineer during periods of absence and contribute to the effective management of tailings and associated water management activities About You Reporting directly to the Superintendent – Tails & Water this role would suit a detailed and process-oriented person.

You will also have: Bachelor’s degree in Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline

Demonstrated experience in mine site water management, hydrological operations, or groundwater management within the resources sector

Experience developing, maintaining, and reporting on site water balance models and water management plans

Experience with tailings storage facilities,



water storage infrastructure, or related water management systems will be highly regarded

Sound knowledge of water licensing, environmental compliance obligations, and regulatory reporting requirements within the mining industry

Experience using hydrological, hydrogeological, GIS, and data analysis software packages

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets

Ability to work effectively within a remote mining operation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
