A well established Perth based organisation is looking to bring on a Digital Identity Lead to run their identity and access team. It's a role that blends hands on leadership with genuine influence over direction, working closely with architecture and business stakeholders to shape where identity capability is heading, then rolling up your sleeves to get the team and delivery partners actually building it. You'll also be the senior contact when things go wrong on the identity front.
What you'll be doing:
- Running the identity and access team day to day, including ownership of the platform roadmap
- Guiding a technical delivery team through an ongoing identity capability uplift
- Overseeing external delivery partners and contracted resources supporting the program
- Working alongside architects and business leaders to keep identity plans aligned with the broader technology direction
- Acting as the escalation point on significant identity incidents,
driving root cause work through to resolution
- Coaching and developing team members as they deliver
What we need to see:
- Hands on leadership experience implementing platforms such as ForgeRock, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or Okta
- A track record of managing and growing a specialist technical team
- Comfortable operating in an Agile environment, with ownership of a delivery backlog
- Good grounding in identity governance, covering the full lifecycle from onboarding through to offboarding, and familiarity with synchronisation tooling
- Practical experience running or migrating directory infrastructure across both on premises and cloud environments
- Confident across single sign on, role based access and federated identity models
- Excellent stakeholder skills, comfortable negotiating and influencing across a range of audiences
