About The Opportunity Business Review Group is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Lead to support the Strategic High Frequency Communications (SHFC) Program (JP9101) .

The SHFC Program delivers and sustains Defence's High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) , supporting critical communications capability through both sustainment and enhancement activities.

This leadership role is responsible for managing the SHFC ILS function, leading a team of logistics professionals, and ensuring all Integrated Logistics Support activities are delivered in accordance with Defence and CASG requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, manage and mentor the SHFC Integrated Logistics Support team.
- Oversee delivery of all ILS activities across sustainment and acquisition projects.
- Develop, manage and maintain the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP).
- Review, endorse and provide feedback on ILS plans and contractor deliverables.
- Coordinate and consolidate ILS team reviews for contract deliverables.
- Manage export control requirements for the SHFC Program.
- Represent the ILS function at project meetings and management forums.
- Prepare reports and documentation supporting project governance and decision making.
- Manage team resourcing, travel, leave planning and workload allocation.
- Support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Travel to Defence High Frequency Communications sites as required.

Essential Experience The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Extensive experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) within Defence.
- Leadership experience managing logistics or ILS teams.
- Strong knowledge of Defence sustainment and procurement environments.
- Experience developing and managing Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs).
- Experience reviewing contractor deliverables and providing technical feedback.
- Working knowledge of the ASDEFCON suite.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor staff and lead change within a complex Defence environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Logistics Management or a related discipline (highly desirable).
