About the Role

As an Implementation Engineer II, you will play a key role in implementing, integrating, and delivering our PowerCARD payment solutions for clients across Australia and the broader region.

Working closely with project teams, customers, developers, and infrastructure specialists, you will configure, customize, test, deploy, and certify solutions while ensuring successful delivery within agreed project timelines.

What You'll Do

Solution Configuration & Development

· Configure and customize PowerCARD solutions to meet client requirements.

· Analyse technical and business specifications and translate them into working solutions.

· Develop custom enhancements and integrations based on customer needs.

· Support the integration of online and back-office payment platforms.

Testing & Delivery

· Coordinate and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and non-regression testing.

· Identify, investigate, and coordinate the resolution of defects.

· Support Migration,



User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Certification, MTP, and Go-Live activities.

· Assist clients during acceptance testing and production readiness phases.

Deployment & Infrastructure

· Design and maintain deployment configurations using YAML.

· Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes and Helm.

· Containerize applications using Docker.

· Develop and support microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot.

· Integrate event-driven services using Kafka.

· Automate deployment processes and support release management.

· Monitor application performance and troubleshoot deployment-related issues.

Payment Network Certification

· Collaborate with the team to manage certification activities with Visa and Mastercard.

· Ensure compliance with payment network requirements and standards.

· Support production rollout and transition to support teams following successful implementation.

What We're Looking For

Experience

· 2 to 5 years of experience in implementation, system integration, software delivery, or a similar technical role.

· Experience working within enterprise application environments.

· Exposure to the payments, banking, or financial services industry is highly regarded.

Technical Skills

· Java and Spring Boot

· JavaScript and/or Angular





· Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm

· Kafka

· YAML

· Oracle Database

· Linux/Unix environments

· Shell scripting

· Microservices architecture
