Role Description This is a full time hybrid role based in Melbourne, VIC, with some flexibility for work from home.

The Industrial

Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in manufacturing facilities, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine inspections, diagnosing faults, and completing corrective repairs to minimize downtime. The role also involves conducting preventive maintenance, updating wiring and components as needed, and supporting engineering and project teams on upgrades and new installations.

The Industrial





Electrician will follow all safety regulations, maintain accurate records of work performed, and communicate clearly with supervisors, peers, and clients about system status and required actions.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of electricity and industrial electrical systems, including safe work practices and relevant standards.

Demonstrated experience in maintenance & repair of electrical equipment in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Effective troubleshooting skills for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving electrical faults and performance issues.

Proficiency in electrical wiring and related installation tasks, with attention to detail and safety compliance.

Experience performing preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

Valid electrical trade qualification, license, or certification appropriate for industrial work in Victoria.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.

Comfort with hybrid work arrangements and using digital tools for work orders, reporting, and communication.
