Information Technology Traineeship

We are seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic IT trainee, to join our team at St John Bosco College. St John Bosco College has partnered with ATC Work Smart to provide an opportunity for a technology enthusiast to complete their nationally recognised Certificate IV in Information Technology while undertaking a full-time paid traineeship in a supportive environment.

St John Bosco College is a Catholic co-educational College in its eleventh year of operation. The College is situated in Piara Waters, a southern suburb of Perth, Western Australia. We commenced in 2015 with students from Kindergarten to Year 2. In 2026, we have 1400 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12, as well as an OSHC facility. Our innovative building design has a focus on shared, flexible learning spaces which support best practice, 21st century teaching and learning methods.

· Receiving ongoing support from a dedicated ATC Work Smart Mentor A typical work day will including supporting students, parents, and staff of the College via the ICT Helpdesk as well as deploying assets, troubleshooting onsite across Primary and Secondary School, and assisting the College community in utilising ICT for educational purposes.

Selection Criteria

Applications are sought from motivated individuals with a genuine passion for Information Technology interested in joining the established and successful ICT team. In addition, our ideal candidate will be:

· A logical thinker who can solve technical problems

· Committed to customer service, with effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with staff and students

· Motivated and reliable with a willingness to learn

· Able to maintain discretion and confidentially while working in a team

· Eligible to hold a current National Police Clearance and WWC Clearance

· Able to demonstrate a personal commitment to the College Values, Vision and Mission underpinning the delivery of a Catholic based education to students in the College community and a willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College.
